More than just a toy
You wouldn't hand a kid a toy camera to learn photography.
You'd give them a real one, teach them the basics, and let them take terrible photos until they take good ones. Nobody asks "what age is a camera for"?
Most kits marketed as "STEM" are glorified toys — press a button, watch a light blink, done. Ours are different: students build a working electronic device from scratch and write the code that controls it. Because it runs on Arduino – the same tools used by engineers, hobbyists, and university students – kits aren't limited to a script. Once they understand the basics, they can modify the code, tweak the build, and make the project genuinely their own.
